--Site Rules--
The following rules are expected to be obeyed by all members of this forum. Those who break the rules will receive a warning, after which any repeat offenses will earn the member punishments.
.:Respect the Staff:.
First and foremost, respect all members of the staff. The staff is here, taking their free time, in order to bring you a roleplay experience. With this in mind, it is very disrespectful for a member to bash or antagonize a staff member. It will not be tolerated for any reason.
.:Respect the Members:.
This is an out-of-character rule. In-character, you are free to show contempt for an officer you do not like. It is part of the character. However, no matter how your character feels about another character, you should show other members respect.
.:Age Rating and Sexuality on the Forum:.
The forum is 18+. This means violence and swearing are permitted. It is a forum based around a violent video game, after all. Despite this, some words are still not acceptable here. The N-word, in particular, is offensive. Regardless of your ethnic background, use of this word will not be allowed. Most other swear words will be allowed, however if members are using a swear every other word, this privilege will be taken away.
As far as sexuality goes, sexual RP is not permitted in the public boards. If you and another member wish to partake in cyber-sex activities, whether in-character or not, you are free to find other places to act these out. For those thinking to use the Private Message system, be warned that the Proboards staff can and often do snoop on all private messages. It is unclear whether they have keywords tagged in a system to expressly look for.
.:Double Posting:.
This isn't that big a deal to me. If you create an RP thread and nobody has joined in 24 hours, feel free to post again. I don't see a point in letting your thread die simply to stop two posts from the same member being next to one another. This mainly only applies to threads in which you are the only participant. If dealing with a thread that includes other members, give it at least 4 days, and if the member is present on the forum still, send them a PM to see what the problem is.
In the Out-of-Character boards, if you have posted and feel the need to include more information, in general it is better to simply edit your previous post.
.:The Shoutbox:.
This is the public face of our forum. So the swearing should be kept at a lesser degree than those employed while in-character. Discussions are fine on any subject that doesn't break the above rules(no sexual discussions, of course), however if the discussion is thought to be an argument, it should be taken to Private Message.
